Speed Fiend is the fast-paced, addicting card game Speed (also known as Spit) for the iPhone/iPod Touch. It involves quick thinking and quick fingers, and game play is perfectly suited for the iPhones touch screen.

Even people who dont like card games love Speed. Unlike most card games, there are no turns. You play as fast as you can against your computer opponent to be the first to play all your cards. It is just as addictive and easy to learn as Solitaire, but plays like an arcade game and adds the challenge of developing quick reflexes.

The rules are simple. You play cards by dragging them onto the discard piles. You can play a card if your card is one higher or lower than it. Tap your reserve deck to draw more cards. If you play all your cards before your opponent, you win. If youve played Spoons or Spit, this is similar. (Full instructions in application.)

I used to be killer at this when I was younger - the computer is a little faster than the kids I played against! Levels 7 and 8 are a good warmup - but my goal is to beat level 9 - I rarely even get a card on the pile before the computer. Swiping works well. Only problem is that you cant play your own music while playing, even if the "sounds" are switched off.

A fun game. A bargain at $1. Lots of levels but only the last three are really challenging. Level 9 is SO hard to beat but thats what gives this game tremendous replay value.

Add 2 player mode online please. We are three that want to play that game online because we are sick of playing on a single iphone or ipod touch. Please add that

I fell in love with this game from minute one. The only complaint I had was the difficult sometimes of getting the cards to "stick" to the piles and losing out to the computer. The new update seems to have fixed that and I have no problem giving it 5 stars now. Great addictive fun!

Great App. Please add the "slap". If both cards that are fsce up are of the same value and you slap the deck the opponent must pick up both discard piles. This would add some much needed spice. Buy now well worth the buck.

Some bad moments

Just bought it, never played it, it wont open period. Waste of time and $

There simply must be a way to track your win loss statistics. Without this, I cant find a point in continuing to play. This app has great potential and is fun to play, but is ruined because of the lack of this feature. I have never written a review for a poor app until now. Please please update and I will adjust rating to 5 stars.

This game is aite. It is a little annoying how you have to dragt he cards directly into the pile that is so small, but there is another version of speed called "SPEED DEMON" where u just which is a lot cooler and faster paced. It has a storyline and is more developed.

Game cranes with new update whenever I try to access the setting.

Update constantly crashes. I wish I didnt update because I really like that game. 4/9. I saw there was another update to fix bugs. I downloaded it and the game still crashes! I am so frustrated!

I used to play this game all the time but the new update makes it wayto hard to play. Plus, my win and loss stats and my game center dont even work. If it wasnt for this new update my ranking would still be 5 stars.
